Blueberry Picking 09-The fun begins!
How many blueberries do you see? This is what we called a "Jackpot". Aidan asked Melissa "Mom, when you find a jackpot can you show me so I know what it looks like?" So cute. Makes you wonder what he was picturing.

Adelle and me a pickin. She did really well for the first hour and a half but then I think she got tired and a little cold (her hands). So while Mama held her Daddy picked for the both of us.
The view from the top. We hiked up a trail, and then bush-whacked our own trail. We found the blueberries because we went where no man went before, and lived. We ended up on huge rocks that were atop caves and holes just waiting to eat small children.
The end result? About 3 1/2 gallons of perfectly ripe beautiful blueberries. After bringing them home, washing, de-steming and picking out the weak ones from the heard, we enjoyed our spoils by making this delicious blueberry pie with the worlds greatest crust. Bon-Apetite! We actually had so much fun we're planning on going back this week.Then we'll have a "jam"min party!
